On March 27, 1997, the call to service was given to W. Howard Burton, Sr. Pastor Burton began having services in his home in the dining room using the kitchen as the overflow room. God told him to call this ministry "The Father's House". At first there were only a few, but the Spirit of the Lord was present and we began to grow. There were times when the house was overflowing with people singing and praising God.
God began to direct our path and order our steps. The steps of a good man are ordered by the Lord: and he delighteth in his way. Psalms 37:23 We began to get our business in order standing firm on the promise that God had made to us.
On July 10, 1998, we purchased our church building at 310 Clay Street, Rochester, PA with seven (7) tithe payers and pledges from our family and friends. God is good and greatly to be praised!
He has shown His mighty hand toward us. He have proven His faithfulness and we give Him the highest praise, HALLELUJAH!!!
